Appliance runtime
How long will a power station run Starlink or a router?
A 1,000 Wh station runs a starlink standard dish for about 14 h calculated, at 63 W running and 63 W starting (Starlink spec sheet). Our best fit for a Starlink Standard dish for 24 hours is the PECRON F3000LFP, at about 42 h. Maker specs checked .

Goal: 24 h. Hours use maker inverter efficiency where published, otherwise the 0.85 estimate, and leave out idle draw the maker doesn't publish. Stations shown out of stock or with availability not shown are skipped. How we pick.

|---|---|---|---|
| 500 Wh | 6.8 h | 13 h | 28 h |
| 1,000 Wh | 14 h | 26 h | 57 h |
| 2,000 Wh | 27 h | 52 h | 113 h |

| 5,000 Wh | 68 h | 131 h | 283 h |
A generic station of that rated size at the 0.85 default efficiency with no idle draw, assuming its watts are enough to run and start the load. Real stations are below.
Running and starting watts
- Starlink Standard, on continuously: 63 W running, 63 W starting, 1,500 Wh a day (Starlink spec sheet). Midpoint of the maker's 50–75 W average range (Standard kit spec sheet).
- Starlink Mini, on continuously: 33 W running, 33 W starting, 780 Wh a day (Starlink spec sheet). Midpoint of the maker's 25–40 W average range. Runs on 12–48 V DC (60 W input rating), so it can skip the inverter.
- Internet router/modem, on continuously: 15 W running, 15 W starting, 360 Wh a day (Champion wattage chart). Typical running W is the midpoint of the chart's 10–20W range.
Starlink Mini can run from a station's DC port, which skips the inverter loss; the calculator lets you switch it to DC.
